About Your Hosts, Kevin and Rika Koeshall

Kevin and Rika have been in the outdoor and hospitality industry for many years.  Prior to guiding in the Devils Lake region, Kevin was a retired police officer, an African outfitter and PH, Montana hunting guide, as well as co-owning and operating the Devils Lake Sportsman's Lodge with Rika.  They also own Devils Lake Taxidermy, a world class taxidermy shop.

Rika, a South African Professional hunter and Safari camp manager, co-owned the Devils Lake Sportsman's Lodge with Kevin as well as Devils Lake Taxidermy.

Deciding to slow down just a little, they sold the Devils Lake Sportsman's Lodge Motel in 2026, after 6 years of guiding and accommodating hundreds of guests, to concentrate on guiding and icehouses.
